Dr. Christopher Iliou studied law at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen and the Università degli studi di Milano. During the term of his studies he worked as an intern with a medium-sized law firm in Pensacola, Florida.
After graduating from university and finishing the legal clerkship in Ulm, he completed a Ph.D. in economics at the Private Universität Witten/Herdecke gGmbH concerning the topic “The use of corporate governance within medium-sized family owned businesses”.
In 2002 he has been admitted to the Bar in Germany. For about three years he worked for a medium-sized law firm in Stuttgart specialized in working as an external legal department for medium-sized companies. After that he worked for five years for a major law firm in Nürnberg where he became a partner. He belonged to the practice group Mergers & Acquisitions.
In the beginning of 2013 he founded his own law firm in Stuttgart. Besides that he is a lecturer with the Universität Mannheim and the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart as well as author of professional publications.
Since March 2014 he is chairman of the supervisory board of the Experts in Motion AG having its seat in Stuttgart.
